Direct Support Operations
ILSS is seeking experienced individuals to support the Direct Support Operations (DSO) Department for the National Guard Bureau Defense Consequence Management Support Center (CoMSUPCEN). Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. The positions are located in Winchester, KY. A full benefits package will be provided.
Primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Receive and coordinate requests from NG Homeland Defense Units
• Manage and track all requests using a database
• Track all requests through closeout
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on DSO customer requests
• Maintain all DSO records
• Analyze and implement DSO business and programmatic process improvements
• Develop and analyze DSO metrics to evaluate performance
• Work with other Operations to meet customer requirements.

Required Qualifications:
• Able to acquire DOD Secret clearance
• 1 year minimum experience in DSO.

Equipment Maintenance Operations
ILSS is seeking experienced individuals to support Equipment Maintenance Operations (EMO) Department for the National Guard Bureau Defense Consequence Management Support Center (CoMSUPCEN). Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. The positions are located in Winchester, KY. A full benefits package will be provided. Primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Track all and report on progress on all maintenance actions
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Maintain sufficient maintenance parts to meet demand
• Use, maintain, and optimize a EMO database and records
• Investigate EMO issues and recommend solutions (resources, business processes, equipment, etc.)
• Maintain records and report on equipment maintenance
• Provide timely and accurate EMO reporting
• Work with other Operations to meet customer requirements.

Required Qualifications:
Able to acquire DOD Secret clearance
• 1 year minimum experience in maintaining CoMSUPCEN equipment

Material Management Operations
ILSS is seeking experienced individuals to support the Material Management Operations (MMO) Department for the National Guard Bureau Defense Consequence Management Support Center (CoMSUPCEN). Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. The positions are located in Winchester, KY. A full benefits package will be provided. Primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Perform logistics for all MMO functions for movement, receipt, inspection, inventory, transportation, and warehouse operations
• Analyze and determine MMO task requirements
• Track all and report on progress for receipt and shipping
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Maintain sufficient inventory levels to meet demand
• Use, maintain, and optimize a MMO database and records

Investigate MMO issues and recommend solutions (resources, business processes, equipment, etc.)
• Maintain and report on Material Handling equipment
• Provide timely and accurate MMO reporting
• Work with other Operations to meet customer requirements.

Required Qualifications:
Able to acquire DOD Secret clearance
• 1 year minimum experience in CoMSUPCEN MMO
• 3 years minimum supervisory level experience.

Purchasing Operations
ILSS is seeking experienced individuals to support the Purchasing Operations Department for the National Guard Bureau Defense Consequence Management Support Center (CoMSUPCEN). Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. The positions are located in Winchester, KY. A full benefits package will be provided. Primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Procuring operational stocks
• Track procurements from order until receipt
• Manage and maintain vendor database
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on procurements
• Maintain all procurement records
• Analyze and implement purchasing business and programmatic process improvements
• Develop and analyze purchasing metrics to evaluate performance
• Perform purchasing risk assessments and implement risk mitigation plans

Required Qualifications:
• Able to acquire DOD Secret clearance
• 1 year minimum CBNRE purchasing
• Knowledge and experience with CBNRE vendors.

Special Projects Operations
ILSS is seeking experienced individuals to support the Special Projects Operations (SPO) Department for the National Guard Bureau Defense Consequence Management Support Center (CoMSUPCEN). Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. The positions are located in Winchester, KY. A full benefits package will be provided. Primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Perform SPO logistics functions for National Guard Homeland Defense Units
• Analyze and determine logistics task requirements
• Track all special projects and report on progress
• Investigate logistics issues and recommend solutions (resources, business processes, equipment, etc.)
• Conduct sustainment analyses and provide life cycle cost estimates
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on SPO projects
• Maintain all SPO records
• Work with other Operations to meet customer requirements.

Required Qualifications:
• Able to acquire DOD Secret clearance
• 1 year minimum experience in CoMSUPCEN logistics.

 

Network Engineer

  • Design, planning, implementation and support of a network infrastructure
  • Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture
  • Perform testing of network designs
  • Install, configure and maintain network equipment
  • Perform network troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems
  • Document network problems and resolution for future reference
  • Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, includes routers, switches, firewalls, network security devices, etc.
  • Perform troubleshooting to resolve network issues
  • Control access to the network
  • Evaluate and report on new network technologies to enhance capabilities of the network for the most efficient solutions to meet business needs including present and future capacity requirements
  • Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning as needed
  • Minimal travel may be required to client sites

Desired Certifications:  MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CNE or equivalent experience

Networking:  Switches, Routers, Hubs, Servers, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, CP/IP, DNS, VPN, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, PPP, MPLS, VRRP, HSRP, High Availability and Network Monitoring and Management Tools

Systems:  Windows, Cisco Systems

 

System Administrator w/VM Ware

  • Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
  • Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc in accordance with standards using virtual machine software
  • Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure systems such as ticketing systems and Asset Management applications
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
  • Contribute to and maintain system standards
  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks
  • Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
  • Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary
  • Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary
  • Create, change and delete user accounts per request
  • Provide support per request from various constituencies
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures
  • Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.  Configure/add new services as necessary
  • Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures
  • Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.  Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required
  • Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment

Skills:

  • Five to Eight years of system administration experience
  • Desired experience with DNS, DHCP, WINS, Cluster, IIS, VMWare/ESX
  • Extensive hardware troubleshooting experience of storage (RAID,FLASH, SCSI, and SATA configurations)
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.  Good documentation skills and knowledge of basic ITIL processes required.
